Kendall Jenner is embracing her inner cat.
The model flew into New York City on Wednesday night to appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” wearing a sequin-covered sheath dress from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show.
The orange and black dress was designed to resemble a Bengal tiger with a sparkling paillette neckline and hemline. She accessorized with a classic black patent leather Chanel slingback.
Jenner’s shoulder-length brown hair was parted down the middle, with a little sparkle popping out of each ear.
The look was first unveiled on the runway at a New York City subway station in December, marking the company’s second collection from creative director Mathieu Blazy.
The shimmering textures of Jenner’s tiger-embellished dress were emblematic of Chanel’s entire new look, with plenty of tweed, sequins, hand-embroidered details and beading.
While appearing on Fallon’s show, the model talked about wearing Moulin Rouge’s iconic sequined bustier look chosen for her at Vogue World this fall, saying it was “a dream come true.”
The model revealed that the dress was not original and was fake. “The woman who made the original made it for me, so it was a perfect replica and very cool.”
“I couldn’t see Nicole wearing it, to be honest,” she added. “I probably would have been like, ‘Sorry, I shouldn’t have worn this, but you did a much better job of wearing it,’ so I think it probably would have been better.”
Additionally, Jenner is now the proud owner of a piece of film history, saying, “And in honor of my 30th birthday… Vogue let me keep it as a birthday present, so it’s in my archives.”
Now the model, who is proving the “Kardashian Curse” wrong in a new Super Bowl commercial that pokes fun at her family’s alleged dating curse, has officially chosen the New England Patriots as a contender for the big game.
