‘Paradise’ Season 2 is full of more mysteries. The first full trailer for the Hulu series shows Sterling K. Brown’s Xavier surviving a plane crash and continuing to search for his wife with new friends. Shailene Woodley, whose role is largely kept under wraps, appears in a new clip asking Xavier if the Bunker is real and what it’s like.
“Same as before, just creepier,” he replied. “The longer I was there, the more seams started to show.”
It also shows the two of them, she riding a horse and him walking, with Brown’s voiceover saying, “Let’s go get my wife.”
Link, the biker gang leader played by Thomas Doherty, is also revealed, and in one scene he hugs Woodley. In another article, he said of the bunker: “There’s something about it that no one knows about, something dangerous.”
Meanwhile, in the bunker, Sinatra (Julian Nicholson) and Jane (Nicole Brydon Bloom) appear to continue their plan, while Gabriella (Sarah Shahi) begins to ask serious questions.
According to the season 2 synopsis, “Xavier searches for Teri across the world and learns how people survived in the three years since that day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric unravels as the bunker deals with the aftermath of season 1, and new secrets about the city’s origins are revealed.”
Kris Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliya Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans also star, with guest appearances from James Marsden, John Beavers, Woodley and Doherty.
“Paradise” will be executive produced by Dan Fogelman. Executive producers include Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. TV number 20 is the studio.
