Will Poulter and Odessa Young have joined the cast of Netflix’s hostage thriller series Rabbit Rabbit, starring and executive produced by Adam Driver.
According to the official logline, the driver is “cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop” and “takes hostages in an effort to win his freedom. But the conflict quickly escalates into an unruly social experiment with his captors and an emotional poker match with a veteran FBI crisis negotiator trained in ‘tactical empathy.'” Previously announced star Regina Hall will play the crisis negotiator.
In television, Poulter’s most notable credits include playing Luca on FX’s “The Bear” and Billy Cutler on Hulu’s “Dopesick,” for which he received Emmy nominations for both roles. In movies, he has appeared in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Dawn Voyage” (2010), “We’re the Mirrors” (2013), “Midsommar” (2019), “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (2023), and “Warfare” (2025). Next, he will be appearing in the Boots Riley movie ‘I Love Boosters’.
Young recently played the role of Faye Romano in the 2025 film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere and Gen in the 2025 Netflix limited series Black Rabbit.
Peter Craig is the creator and showrunner of Rabbit Rabbit. Executive producers include Craig and Brian Unkeless through their Night Owl Stories banner. Director Philippe Barantini and Samantha Beddoe greet each other through the “It’s All Made Up Productions” banner. And the driver. The studio is MRC, where Craig and Night Owl Stories have a first-look deal.
