Rachel Keller has been cast opposite Mike Colter in CBS’ upcoming courtroom drama Cupertino, Variety has confirmed.
In addition to Colter and Keller, the series’ cast also includes Renee Elise Goldsberry and Ella Stiller. The logline says the show is “a David vs. Goliath courtroom drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley that follows a lawyer (Colter) who is swindled out of stock options by his former employer, a tech startup. Refusing to do so, he teams up with another recently fired lawyer (Keller) to represent those exploited by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against Goliath, who rules Silicon Valley.
Keller’s character, named Olivia, is described as a “midwestern law school graduate who finds herself fired from a Silicon Valley startup and joins forces with Michael to form an underdog law firm to take on the tech giants.”
Keller recently starred in the HBO Max series “Tokyo Vice,” and previously appeared on shows such as “Dirty John,” “The Society,” “Legion” and “Fargo.” She has also appeared in films such as “A Man Called Otto” with Tom Hanks and “Butcher’s Crossing” with Nicolas Cage and Fred Hechinger.
She is repped by UTA and Suskin/Kalshan Management.
The show is produced by Robert and Michelle King, who will write, executive produce and co-showrun the series under their Kingsize Productions. Robert will also direct the pilot, with Liz Glotzer serving as executive producer. Kings is executive producing under his recently renewed overall deal with CBS Studios.
“Cupertino” was officially made into a series on CBS in October 2025. The Kings initially began developing the show at CBS in 2024, after which the network commissioned a full writers’ room and a 13-episode script order in 2025.
Deadline first reported Keller’s casting.
