Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are into method dressing.
On Wednesday, January 28, the co-stars arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of Wuthering Heights in coordinated looks.
The three-time Academy Award nominee wore a form-fitting Schiaparelli dress to the premiere. The dress featured a nude lace bodice that faded into a dramatic black and red train that resembled flower petals.
Robbie, 35, accessorized her gown with a Cartier Taj Mahal necklace from the Elizabeth Taylor Archive and Estate, the estate confirmed. Richard Burton gave the jewel to Taylor for her 40th birthday in 1972.
In a red carpet interview, Robbie said she and her stylist Andrew Mukamal tried to be “intentional” with what they wore, and that the history of the jewelry meant they felt it matched “appropriately” with the dress.
Robbie completed her look with custom 38-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings set with vintage old-cut stones in darkened bronze and gold, and a 12-carat diamond ring by the jewelry designer. She also wore Fred Leighton jewelry.

Elordi, 28, stood out against the all-white backdrop used for the event, coordinating with Robbie in an all-black suit and black shoes.
Robbie and Elordi will star as Catherine and Heathcliff in the upcoming film adaptation of Emily Bronte’s 1847 novel.
Ahead of the film’s release, the co-stars spoke to Vogue Australia and reflected on their meaningful behind-the-scenes moments. Robbie and Elordi play Catherine and Heathcliff, respectively, childhood friends whose different social status stands in the way of their love, and who eventually realize their feelings for each other.
Robbie recalled the big thing Elordi had planned for her on Valentine’s Day and thought her co-star “would probably make a really good boyfriend.”
“We were filming on Valentine’s Day and you made my day and filled my room with roses as Heathcliff,” Robbie said.

In addition to a pile of roses, Elordi gave Robbie a note written from the character’s perspective and “a little tombstone thing.” Both were emblematic of the films they were making together.
Elordi noted that although Robbie didn’t do anything special for her during the holidays, her feelings weren’t hurt: “I felt like I lost to you.”
“You definitely beat me. Your match was great,” Robbie replied. “I remember thinking on Valentine’s Day, oh, he must be such a good boyfriend, because there’s so many thoughtful things in this. You’ve done so many thoughtful things.”

In an interview with Fandango published on January 14, Elordi said that there was a moment when he and Robbie really felt their characters’ love for each other.
“There would be a moment where we would run through the moors hand in hand, and I would look at her, and she would look at me, probably even during the setting of the scene, and you would really realize that you were looking at Catherine and she was looking at Heathcliff,” Elordi said. “And in that moment, we were really part of their love, really.”
