Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos are painting the streets of Paris in red and silver.
The former journalist, 56, and her billionaire husband, 62, kicked off Haute Couture Week on Monday by attending Schiaparelli and Dior’s spring 2026 fashion show at the City of Light.
Sanchez made a striking figure at the first show of the day in a fire-engine red skirt suit, coordinating it with front-row seatmate Anna Wintour, who (coincidentally?) arrived wearing a red-striped coat.
Sanchez accessorized with matching red suede pumps and red-tinted sunglasses. She added a striking crocodile Schiaparelli handbag adorned with the house’s signature surrealist face motif, complete with golden lips and nose.
It’s not the first time she’s ordered off the runway. She wore a corseted dress from the Spring 2025 collection to kick off her lavish Venice wedding to Bezos last June.
Meanwhile, the Amazon founder complemented his wife in a sophisticated all-black ensemble at the runway show, but what was even more impressive was the new silver beard he grew out this winter.
Later the same day, the pair arrived hand in hand at Jonathan Anderson’s Dior haute couture debut. Mr. Sanchez switched to a blue-gray fur-trimmed skirt suit, while Mr. Bezos opted for navy.
The Fashion Week appearance comes as the couple prepares to serve as lead donors at the 2026 Met Gala, which will be held on May 4.
They will join secondary sponsors Saint Laurent and Condé Nast in funding the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition, Costume Art.
In between shows, Sanchez was photographed going out to lunch with Winter, who has publicly defended her amid criticism of the Met’s sponsorship.
“I think Lauren will be a great addition to museums and events,” Vogue’s global editorial director told CNN. “We are so grateful for her incredible generosity.”
The philanthropist also frequents Paris hotspots like Siena Restaurant, where she dined out on Sunday night in a black athleisure catsuit paired with a cropped white fur coat.
The Bezoses have become fixtures in the fashion world. In October, they attended Paris Fashion Week, witnessed Chanel’s new creative director Mathieu Blasey’s debut show with the French fashion brand, and sat front row at Balenciaga.
