Maksim Chmerkovskiy enjoyed a dreamy Caribbean getaway with his wife Peta Murgatroyd as they celebrated their 46th year orbiting the sun.
The former Dancing with the Stars pros stayed at the ultra-luxurious Secret St. Lucia Resort & Spa.
“St. Lucia was the perfect place to slow down and spend some time with Peta,” Chmerkovskiy exclusively told Page Six on Thursday.
“Between the ocean, the scenery, and the quiet time we spent together, it felt more like a reset than a birthday trip,” he continued. “My favorite part is just waking up in the morning, drinking coffee on the balcony, and realizing how grateful I am for this life and this family.”
It is understood that Chmerkovskiy, who called Murgatroyd on his birthday on January 17, is now staying in a private suite that costs $3,000 a night.
A source said the pair seemed to be “keeping a low profile” during their stay and “focused on relaxing and taking a break together.”
“From enjoying an overwater breakfast in the suite’s private swim-up pool, to couples massages and jet skiing, to a special birthday dinner, this trip was all about being present and enjoying some down time,” a source said.
Chmerkovskiy, 39, and Murgatroyd were able to enjoy views overlooking the ocean from the private swim-out pool of their sophisticated suite.
Murgatroyd took to Instagram last week to share some photos of herself during her stay, along with a sweet birthday message to her husband.
“This year 2026 is going to be a year of success and life-changing for you…and I will be by your side every step of the way as I watch you get what you deserve!” she wrote. “Happy birthday, my love ❤️”
The resort has 355 rooms and suites hidden within 30 acres of lush landscaping and gardens with breathtaking ocean views. Each retreat features a private furnished terrace, 24-hour room and concierge services, and a daily-stocked mini-fridge.
The couple also has the option to upgrade to the destination’s Preferred Club, which gives them access to a private lounge and other “extensive amenities,” the website boasts.
The pair reportedly went for a couples massage at Secrets Spa, which offers rejuvenating services such as hydrotherapy, sauna, steam room, facials and body scrubs. The on-site salon also offers hair treatments and mani-pedis.
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd celebrated his birthday with an intimate dinner for two in their hotel room, but there are nine special restaurants on-site that don’t require reservations.
The website says, “Enjoy a wide range of international cuisine at our buffet, indulge your sweet tooth at our creperie, and enjoy freshly brewed coffee at our charming café.”
Hitsu serves pan-Asian cuisine, while Morgan’s Pier offers French cuisine. Enjoy fresh seafood at Oceana and Italian cuisine at Portofino. Barefoot Grill also serves light snacks. Le Petit serves fresh pastries daily, while Coco Café offers coffee and snacks.
Patrons can also enjoy “unlimited” premium drinks at one of several bars overlooking the beach.
Guests can participate in a variety of activities provided by the Secrets team. There are three pools to choose from, as well as an open-air theater that hosts live shows, themed parties, and evening entertainment.
Several tours are also available for vacationers to explore the island’s “rich culture and vibrant history.”
Our full-service fitness center features state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights. Those who wish to take classes can also sign up for water aerobics and yoga.
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd decided to go jet skiing, but they also enjoyed windsurfing, horseback riding, beach volleyball, pickleball, tennis, table tennis, and billiards.
We hear that the TV personalities “valued slow mornings, spa time, and carefree moments together.”
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd married in July 2017 and have three children: Shai, 9, Rio, 2, and Milan, 1.
