The “Murder in the Building” actress also shared a photo series featuring herself wearing only a towel while relaxing in bed. She styled her bob with Old Hollywood curls and flashed a glimpse of her marquise diamond engagement ring and diamond wedding ring in the shot. The first photo showed a playful companion in a sold-out pink JuJu keychain by Australian artist Cj Hendry.
Gomez hinted that the photo shoot was meant to poke fun at her hairstyle, captioning the post, “Short series 💇♀️”
The star appears in the shot with and without bangs. Last year, she debuted blunt bangs, which were later revealed to be part of a wig. “I’m going to get[bangs]but I’ll never do it because I’ll regret it and have to start over,” she captioned an Instagram post showing off her wavy lob hairstyle.
In early September, Gomez spoke to Allure about where she finds her beauty inspiration, and whether she finds it on Pinterest. “I have all these folders of inspiration for weddings, food, and style,” she says, adding, “When I find[makeup]that I like on Pinterest, I lean on that, and then I get suggestions from Hun[Vango, her longtime makeup artist]and I put it all together. It’s a process.”
She also talked about how she’s approaching this chapter of her 30s, saying, “I want to keep evolving and getting better in every area of my life. And I want to experience everything, so it’s important to keep myself in check. I’m so excited to be able to acknowledge and be a part of emotions when they come up, and then let them go.”
