Ryan Murphy’s latest series on FX “gets hot in one shot.”
“The Beauty,” which premieres tonight (January 21) in three episodes on FX and Hulu, is based on the comic book series of the same name by Jeremy Horn and Jason A. Hurley.
Murphy mainstay Evan Peters stars in the film, which also stars Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope and Rebecca Hall.
The series follows an FBI investigation into deaths related to “The Beauty,” a sexually transmitted disease treatment that makes users physically attractive. As public panic related to the outbreak intensifies, the FBI’s investigation and competing interests center on the forces behind the drug and the epidemic it causes.
