Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are in possession of the only footage of a wedding reception video that allegedly showed Victoria Beckham dancing “inappropriately” with her son.
Following Brooklyn’s explosive statement on social media, two sources confirmed the existence of the video on Tuesday. In it, Brooklyn accused his parents of alienating his wife and controlling the “narrative” surrounding the feud.
Footage from the April 2022 wedding “includes footage of Victoria dancing inappropriately with Brooklyn at the wedding,” the source says.
According to multiple reports, the couple has no plans to release the video.
According to TMZ, the moment “lasted several minutes” and guests “didn’t know how to react.”
Sources told the publication that Victoria was “directly in opposition to Brooklyn” and was acting “more befitting a romantic partner than a mother and son.”
The moment left Brooklyn feeling “humiliated,” but she reportedly doesn’t want the public to see the scene.
The ultra-private event included a ban on cellphone use and non-disclosure agreements, the media source said.
According to TMZ, an exception was made for the fashion designer and she was allegedly allowed to keep her phone while other guests had their phones confiscated.
Sources told the outlet that the footage is currently only accessible to the bride and groom, and the contract requires the video company to sign its own NDA and “erasure all copies.”
Page Six has reached out to representatives for Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckham family.
A source told Page Six on Tuesday that Marc Anthony, who performed at the gala, intended to introduce the couple, who had their first dance on a specially created stage.
“This was supposed to be a grand, romantic first dance,” said a wedding insider. “It was preordained for Nicola and Brooklyn.”
But instead of Peltz coming on stage, the guest said, Brooklyn’s fashion designer mother “came on stage and put her arm around Brooklyn” and “hugged around his neck.”
“She was dancing with him very inappropriately,” the guest told Us, adding, “She stole the moment from Nicola. That’s God’s truth.”
He added that the bride “ran away crying.”
“Beckham’s side was cheering, but Peltz’s side was quiet,” they said. “Nicola’s friends were saying, ‘You have to go down now.’ Her face was swollen.”
Peltz was “sad all night” after what guests called a “heartbreaking” incident.
However, other sources said there was no “hijacking” moment and there was nothing “inappropriate” about the “family dance.”
Sources claimed that Nicola and Brooklyn were already dancing together, with Nicola also dancing with her father, and David, Victoria and Harper also joining Brooklyn on stage. “It was basically a family dance,” they said.
The pair’s lavish Florida wedding sparked rumors of family feud after the alleged incident, which culminated in Brooklyn’s scathing statement on social media on Monday.
In it, the photographer accused the designer’s mother of “cancelling Nicola’s dress at the 11th hour, forcing her to find a new one in a hurry.”
He also accused his parents of “performative social media posts, family affairs, fake relationships” and a “completely backwards” narrative that “my wife is controlling me.”
“Neither my wife nor I want a life defined by images, coverage, or manipulation,” he wrote. “All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for ourselves and our future families.”
A source told Page Six on Monday that a “massive breakdown of trust” between Brooklyn and her parents reached a breaking point “last week.”
“They had had enough,” the source explained. “This ended up being a huge power struggle between two powerful families.”
