Matt Prokop was allegedly caught on video having sex with his ex-girlfriend a year before his latest arrest.
A 35-year-old man may have been seen forcibly picking Lucy up and pushing her out the door of her Victoria, Texas, home in May 2024, according to Ring camera footage obtained by the Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Lucy could be heard pleading and resisting Prokop, and a small dog was barking in the background.
The footage was taken less than 24 hours before he allegedly threatened her with a hammer in front of some of her friends.
According to the police report, he threatened to “bash (her) skull in,” and a witness said “his friends and Lucy’s friends all saw him throw Lucy to the ground and push her down, and when they saw the hammer come up, enough was enough.”
At the time, Mr Prokop allegedly threatened Lucy after he discovered she had been “sleeping with someone else” and started packing her things. But the disgraced actor is said to have told her: “If you leave here, you die.”
Despite staying by her side in hopes of calming her down, Prokop is said to have woken up still furious and pushed her out the door.
The two then went to a store, where she said she had been assaulted by a store employee and police were called. Authorities noticed bruises on Lucy’s body and wrote in the report, “Matthew is an immediate threat to Lucy.”
Prokop was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, unlawful restraint, and resisting arrest by failing to comply with the direction of a police officer, although Lucie did not want to press charges, according to reports obtained by the outlet.
Prokop did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment, and the footage obtained by the Daily Mail is not related to the current charges.
According to TMZ, the “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” star was arrested and taken into custody on December 24, 2025, in Victoria County, Texas, on multiple charges, including possession of child pornography. He is currently being held without bail.
The former actor told Page Six earlier this month that he had suffered “years of abuse” from his former actor.
“After years of abuse, the effects are still very real and continue to impact my life,” Prokop’s ex Lucy, who claims to be the victim of the complaint, told Page Six in a statement.
“I am currently taking time to heal in private, with the support of my closest friends and family. Taking this time does not make his actions any less serious or harmful,” added Lucy, who was previously engaged to Prokop.
“Being young myself, I didn’t really understand the seriousness of the incident. No amount of time will make his actions any less serious or harmful.”
Prokop also faces abuse allegations from his ex-girlfriend, “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland, who accused him of verbal and physical abuse during their five-year relationship.
In May 2014, she claimed that a man slammed her into a car and strangled her during an argument, according to court filings obtained by Page Six.
After Hyland and Prokop broke up, Hyland allegedly threatened to kill her dog and set her house on fire. She then obtained a restraining order against him and he was ordered to stay away from the actress for three years.
