Nicole Kidman is planning an exciting new year after her divorce from Keith Urban.
“She is feeling refreshed and optimistic heading into the new year,” a source told People of the Oscar winner in a statement published Monday.
The source added that the “Big Little Lies” star is “looking forward to a busy and exciting year professionally, with several projects lined up.”
Regarding the ex-couple’s daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, the source added: “Nicole is spending a lot of time with her daughters. She loves family time.”
“They are all returning to normal life,” the source revealed. “The situation has calmed down.”
Kidman’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Kidman’s “Practical Magic” sequel is scheduled for release in September, and this year she will appear in Season 3 of “The Lioness” with Zoe Saldaña, as well as “Margo’s Got Money Trouble” with Elle Fanning and “Scarpetta” with Jamie Lee Curtis.
The prolific actress also has Season 3 of HBO Max’s hit series “Big Little Lies” on the horizon.
Kidman and Urban, both 58, were married for nearly 20 years before their shocking split over the summer.
“Sometimes relationships just pass on their own,” a source told Us at the time. The actress reportedly “didn’t want to separate and was trying to salvage things” before their separation.
The pair finalized their divorce earlier this month, with both parties waiving spousal and child support in the case, and the country star earning money “every other weekend” with his daughters.
Kidman and Urban had been separated since early summer 2025, but subsequent speculation that Urban was in a relationship with guitarist Maggie Boe was shut down by a friend in October.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the country star had moved in with a new boyfriend. “I heard he (Urban) has someone. That’s why the girls are openly supporting their mom,” the source claimed.
“People even think they live together,” the source claimed. “See, there’s a reason why teenage girls fight 3-on-1 because they love their dads.”
The newspaper also reported that Urban was working on a breakup album in Nashville that “may uncomfortably reenact the unraveling of their love story” and that Urban is “seriously” dating a new girlfriend, said to be up-and-coming country singer Carly Scott Collins, 26.
Collins himself responded to the dating rumors via social media on Sunday, categorically denying them. The singer shared a screenshot with the headline, “Keith Urban living with Karlie Scott Collins? New speculation amid divorce.”
Above the screenshot, she wrote, “Damn this is totally ridiculous and untrue,” adding a laughing crying emoji.
Meanwhile, the Perfect Couple star seems focused on looking to the future, with a sweet social media post earlier this month showing her posing arm-in-arm with her daughters while watching New Year’s Eve fireworks.
“Looking forward to 2026,” she wrote above the photo.
