Kyle Cooke slammed Amanda Batula in social media comments days before the Summer House stars officially announced their split.
In a Jan. 14 Instagram post, Batula, 34, shared a photo from 2016 on a merry-go-round, in keeping with the currently popular viral trend. It’s worth noting that her husband, Cook, 43, is not in any of the shots.
“I guess I wasn’t in your camera roll,” Cook wrote in the comments section, along with laughing and crying emojis.
Five days later, the two jointly announced their breakup in an Instagram Story post.
“After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably made the decision to separate as husband and wife,” they wrote. “It is with heavy hearts that we share this and we kindly ask for your blessings and support as we focus on personal growth and healing.”
“We have always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, so it feels ironic that we would ask for privacy during this time,” they added. “But your kindness and respect will go a long way in helping us move on to our next chapter.”
Fans flocked to the previous post, with one commenting on Cooke’s comment about being excluded as “this is outdated.”
The now-separated couple began dating during the first season of “Summer House” in 2016. They married in September 2021 at her family’s home in New Jersey.
Viewers have witnessed the pair’s ups and downs, with Cook admitting to cheating on her with Batula shortly before they got engaged in 2018. Rumors of infidelity continued to plague the couple throughout their relationship, but the couple remained steadfast in their commitment to unity.
However, Bravo’s Summer House season 10 trailer, released on December 7, 2025, focused on marital issues. In one high-profile incident, Batula accused Cook of sleeping in a fan’s apartment and coming home “about 6:30 in the morning.”
Page Six previously reported in November 2025 that a source exclusively told them the pair could be headed for divorce, claiming they were living apart while going through a “difficult period” in their relationship.
It is worth noting that the two also have different views on where to live and when to start a family.
