Lori Loughlin holds a grudge against ex Mossimo Giannulli, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Lori is still very angry with him,” a source says of her estranged ex-boyfriend, who confirmed to PEOPLE in October that they had broken up. Another source said Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, have been living “separate lives” since their split.
Regardless of Loughlin’s feelings, another source said that Giannulli, a fashion designer, speaks highly of the actress, saying, “He thinks she’s a lovely person and a great mother,” adding, “He wants everything to be resolved quietly.”
Last October, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple was ending their nearly 30-year marriage. A representative for Loughlin said at the time that the couple was “on hiatus from their marriage,” adding: “There are no legal proceedings underway at this time.”
Shortly after this announcement, another source told PEOPLE that their marriage never fully recovered from the strain that was embroiled in the college admissions scandal.
In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire fraud and mail fraud after being accused of paying $500,000 to a university consultant who falsely named their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli as recruits to the University of Southern California’s crew team. Loughlin and Giannulli served two and five months in prison, respectively.
“Things were never the same even after overcoming the fallout from college and a prison sentence together,” the source said, adding that the two are “moving forward with separate priorities.”
“Lori feels betrayed,” the source added. “They’re in a very different place now, and it’s unlikely they’ll ever go back.”

Loughlin isn’t the only one who remains angry with Giannulli. In late October, a source said her friends were also furious with him.
“She has a good group of friends. Many of her friends are also divorced and are currently going through the same thing that she is going through,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They’re rallying behind her, but they don’t like him.”
PEOPLE reached out to Giannulli and Loughlin’s representatives for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
On October 20, Loughlin’s former Full House co-star John Stamos spoke candidly about her breakup with Giannulli on the Good Guys podcast.
“She has put up with a lot over the years with this man,” Stamos said.
“She’s just devastated. A girl who’s lived a really good life, a good person, a good mother, a good wife, and I know all of this for a fact, and now to be thrown into this separation and explode like this and destroy a family… I just hate to see her go through this. I really do.”
