Will Reeve got married.
The 33-year-old ABC News correspondent, who is the son of the late Superman actor Christopher Reeve and singer Dana Reeve, married Amanda Dubin on Saturday, January 17 in Miami, PEOPLE confirms.
Ahead of the wedding, Amanda’s mother, Victoria Dubin, posted on her Instagram Stories that she was having a “quiet moment” before the big event. “The bride just left for her first look,” she wrote. “She surprised us. The emotion her father and I are feeling is palpable.”
On Sunday, January 18, Will’s ABC News colleague Robin Roberts shared a photo on Instagram of himself posing with his wife Amber Reign, Sam Champion, Lala Spencer and others in Miami. The group sat around a table having drinks.
“We had a pre-party last night before celebrating a beautiful couple! 🥂,” Roberts wrote, later sharing several photos from the wedding to her Instagram Stories, calling it “a magical night celebrating a magical couple.”
Will announced his engagement to 29-year-old Amanda on November 10, 2024 in a joint Instagram post. The couple shared several photos from their romantic proposal on November 8th in New York City. Afterwards, the two celebrated with an intimate gathering with their loved ones.
The two simply captioned the post, “We 🤍.”

Will later detailed how he pulled off the surprise proposal on Kelly and Mark Live, revealing that there was “misdirection” in order to surprise his future bride. He revealed that he disguised his proposal as a “charity event in Manhattan.”

“I was like, ‘I have to go. I have to stop by.'” And she was like, “This is the stupidest plan I’ve ever heard.” And I said, “No, no, it’s okay.” It’s okay,’” he recalled. “So we’re going to work on this thing, but there’s no charity event. I made it up.”
“When we walked in, we pre-set up the roses and the cellist and the photographer, and we walked in and she said, ‘Oh, it’s beautiful!’” And Amanda is an event planner, so she starts filming the event for inspiration,” Will continued. “And I say, ‘Please put the phone down.’ And she goes, ‘Oh my God!’ And then she realized what was happening. ”
Once the engagement was finalized, the couple’s families waited in the “art gallery” on the second floor to hear the news. Will told PEOPLE that night was “the happiest night of my life and I can’t wait to spend it together forever.”
In February 2025, Will revealed on Live with Kelly and Mark that Amanda and her mother Victoria are top event planners and have worked together to plan many elegant celebrations and weddings.
“Wait, you’re marrying into a family of double event planners?” co-host Kelly Ripa asked Will, to which Will replied, “That’s right.”

He noted that Victoria, president and owner of Victoria Dubin Events, has been planning events for “25 years.” Dubin Events is a “highly sought-after top event planning company” that creates “extraordinary experiences.”
Live co-host Mark Consuelos agreed: “This is the easiest wedding I’ve ever been to.” To this, the journalist jokingly replied, “I hope it’s the only wedding I’ve ever been to!”
Will and Amanda went public with their relationship in April 2023, with Will sharing a selfie of them in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Since then, they have appeared regularly on each other’s Instagram accounts.
In a January 2024 ABC News segment, Will spoke highly about falling in love, saying, “Personally speaking, it’s going to happen when you least expect it, and you’re going to be the happiest you’ve ever been.”
