Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are back in familiar territory, reuniting with a publicist they previously worked with.
Page Six has confirmed that the couple is once again working with Sunshine, Sachs, Morgan & Reillis (SSML), a respected bicoastal public relations firm that also represents Leonardo DiCaprio and Jimmy Fallon.
The Sussexes will work alongside an internal team including Liam Maguire, communications director for the UK and Europe.
The Royal Duo has maintained a close relationship with SSML for many years.
The company represented Markle on Suits when she was an actress, and has been working with the actress and her boyfriend on projects since 2017.
Kelly Thomas Morgan, one of the company’s co-presidents, also attended Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding in May 2018.
Markle, 44, and the Invictus Games founder, 41, have struggled to retain publicists since leaving the royal family and relocating to North America in 2020.
Last December, Eleventh publicist Meredith Maines resigned following the couple’s uproar after attending Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.
A source said the drama with the Kardashians was the “last straw” for Maines.
Kim Kardashian and Jenner have mysteriously deleted photos they took with the Sussexes on Instagram.
Markle and Harry were criticized for attending a glitzy gala at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $175 million mansion in Beverly Hills, California, where they mingled with A-listers including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Bill Gates, Paris Hilton, Tyler Perry, Ciara and Mark Zuckerberg.
Sources told Page Six that representatives for the “Spare” author and actress asked Jenner and Kardashian, 45, to delete Instagram photos from the party.
“They don’t want to upset the royal family, who are trying to reconcile,” the source said.
The duo has also lost other staff members recently.
Last month, James Holt, the head of Sussex charity Archewell Philanthropies, announced he was resigning.
Holt’s departure follows those of former Archewell senior staffers Genevieve Ross, Christine Schirmer and Ashley Hansen.
