The singer chose to stay focused on her work and attended the show alone, without bringing her fiancé, Max Molland, as her date. However, she still wore her engagement ring and wore an all-black Saint Laurent look on the carpet.
News of Cyrus and Morando’s engagement was confirmed by People last month after the pair attended the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash. There, Cyrus debuted the bombe cushion-cut diamond engagement ring given to her by Morando.
Cyrus spoke to the outlet shortly after the big announcement and made rare comments about the milestone and their decision to keep their four-year relationship largely out of the spotlight: “The details I can share are confidential to both of us and our privacy.” – and keeping it small is that I’m actually surprised that I’ve been able to have and have more options. I also think it’s getting older and being more protective of what I’m open to sharing.”
On December 3, a source told Us Weekly that Cyrus never imagined this future for herself after her divorce from Liam Hemsworth. “Miley never thought she’d get married again and Max changed everything for her,” the source said. “They have a really healthy, private relationship.”
About two weeks later, on December 19, a US Weekly source revealed the couple’s initial thoughts on the wedding, saying, “Miley is very happy right now and in a very calm and good place.” “She’s not really into the idea of having another wedding.”
The source added that the two musicians still want to do “fun and meaningful things that feel very special to them,” adding, “They’re talking about eloping or doing something very private just the two of them. She’s embracing this period of engagement and isn’t planning anything in a hurry.”
Sources revealed that she wants to focus on “love.” Generally they said, “She doesn’t necessarily want to be a ‘bride’ again or do anything traditional.”
