Kate Gosselin has denied she’s married after fans spotted her wearing a sparkling diamond ring in a recent TikTok video with boyfriend Steve Nield.
The reality TV personality shared a video of herself shopping for clothes, with the multi-tiered ring on her left finger showing off.
“Oh my gosh. Are you married? I’m so happy you’re happy. So how did you lose weight while recovering?” one person asked, referring to the star’s recovery from a tibial plateau fracture he sustained in September.
One person wrote, “Maybe it’s a wedding ring!?”
Gosselin, 50, was quick to deny marriage, commenting, “No (lol), that’s my regular jewelry. That’s not what happened. I gained 15 pounds but I’m moving around now so I hope I lose weight 😩.”
The video shows the ‘John & Kate Plus 8’ alum rummaging through racks of skirts and swimsuits while enjoying a holiday with her partner Neild in New Zealand, with Wednesday’s video captioned: “Let’s go shopping on Waiheke Island!”
She was also seen moving around shops on the island on crutches due to her injuries, and doctors gradually allowed her to start walking again in December.
The “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test” personality made her Instagram official with her former bodyguard in November, after years of speculation that they had an affair.
Page Six exclusively reported in September that the mother of eight, who shares her children with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, was living with Nield and that they had been together “for a long time.”
“They have wedding plans. It’s very serious,” a source revealed at the time.
“There’s no doubt that Kate is crazy about him… They’re talking about wedding plans and moving on to the next stage.”
Nield started working for the prestigious family in 2008, and Kate vehemently denied the affair allegations a year later.
“What’s scary to me is that[the tabloids]are trying to collect information and create a story. It’s a question of, ‘When do we stop?’ They’re going to keep going and they’re going to make up things to connect the dots,” she told People magazine in May 2009, the same year she split from John.
The rumors resurfaced in September when she shared a relationship update on social media, saying they had been together for “a little over a year, maybe 14 (or) 15 months.”
Colin and John, who married Stephanie Lebo in November, slammed Kate on social media after her romance with Neild was revealed.
“Who really ruined our marriage,” John, 48, wrote on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of a Page Six report on their relationship. “Please read it yourself.”
Colin posted a lengthy post of his own on his Instagram Stories, which read in part: “She’s with him now everyone thinks it’s a cute novelty romance.”
Kate also occasionally provides updates on her grown children (Madeline, Carla, Arden, Alexis, Leah, and Joel) on social media.
Two of the eight children, Colin and Hannah, sided with their father after the family’s chaotic custody battle, while the rest were placed in Kate’s custody.
Colin, 21, later accused his mother of abusing him before being transferred to his father’s care, a claim she denied.
In August, he accused Kate of being complicit in his estrangement from his brother in a TikTok clip of his own.
“I will always love them more than anything,” the reality star wrote, apparently accusing Kate of them being “at each other’s throats.”
Kate appeared to deny responsibility for her famous siblings’ estrangement. A fan posted a screenshot of Colin’s TikTok below Kate’s August TikTok, to which Kate replied: “He knows why…😢.”
