Nick Kroll, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas and Vanessa Bayer will star in A Hundred Percent, the new Netflix comedy from Gabe Liedman, creator of Q-Force and showrunner for the first season of PEN15.
This half-hour comedy follows a group of friends working within a thought leader industrial park. According to the logline, “Their books, podcasts, and morning routines may help us live more perfect lives, but they’re definitely far from perfect when they step away from their screens and microphones.”
“A Hundred Percent” is written by Reedman and Kroll, who also serve as executive producers along with Max Joseph (“Catfish”) and Alex Plappinger (“The Legend of Ochi”).
“Imagine me right now doing the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders’ ‘Thunderstruck’ perfectly, because that’s how I feel,” Reedman said in a statement. “This team, Netflix, and this cast?! I feel especially lucky to be working with Nick again, and I promise to do my best to bring you great work for you to see soon.”
Kroll added, “I’m thrilled to be creating this show with Gabe and this crazy cast. I can’t wait to explore this group of high-functioning friends as they strive to live a strange life!”
The show marks the reunion of Kroll and Reedman, who co-starred in Netflix’s animated comedy series Big Mouth and The Kroll Show. Reidman’s other credits include “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Broad City” and “Inside Amy Schumer.” Kroll recently produced and co-wrote the Hulu sketch series “History of the World, Part II,” the long-awaited sequel to Mel Brooks’ 1981 film, and was also an EP on Hulu’s ensemble comedy “Adults.”
