Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma appears to be throwing shade at Ashley Tisdale as she comes under fire from a “toxic” mom friend group.

The Grammy winner posted a fake mock-up of herself on the cover of New York Magazine’s The Cut to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

Above his thoughtfully posed portrait, a caption read: “Group of moms tells everything through dad’s eyes: When you’re the most self-centered tone-deaf person on the planet, other moms tend to shift their focus to their actual toddlers.”

He added a sarcastic caption: “Read our new interview with @thecut.”

Representatives for Tisdale did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Things began to fade after Tisdale, 40, published a scathing essay in The Cut criticizing members of the star-studded mom group as “mean” and “toxic.”

In a viral essay, she accused the group (which included A-listers Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor) of excluding her from the movement.

Ms. Tisdale said she quit mom groups because she felt the groups were “too high school” and that she herself was “not cool enough” with them.

The Disney Channel alum recalled, “One night, after putting my daughter to bed, I was sitting alone… completely at a loss as to what I had done ‘wrong’ with being left behind.”

Tisdale, who has daughters Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 1, with husband Christopher French, recalled texting the group saying, “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to participate anymore.”

The “High School Musical” actress also wrote that she ended her relationship with the group when “the dynamic was no longer a healthy and positive one.”

In a subsequent personal blog post, Tisdale revealed that he felt “exhausted” by the experience.

“There were group text chains that didn’t include everyone, which led to the formation of cliques within the larger group,” she writes.

“And after seeing social media photos of other members joining hangouts they weren’t invited to for the third or fourth time, I felt like I wasn’t really part of the group after all.”

Tisdale was not mentioned by name in either article, but it’s worth noting that Tisdale was not seen in photos from the group’s fall trip to the Hotel El Lobler in Ojai, California.

A snap shared by Janice Gott showed herself posing with friends including Moore and Duff while on vacation in October.

Meanwhile, members of the mothers’ group appeared to respond to Tisdale’s essay with sharp social media posts on Tuesday.

Clothing designer Sami Ryan reposted a clip of a man opening a door while lip-syncing the lyrics to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Her.”

“I don’t care if these girls don’t like me ’cause I’m pretty as hell,” the rapper sings.

“Feels like 2026,” Ryan added at the top of the clip.
