Jenny McCarthy says her husband Donnie Wahlberg’s snoring is a “challenge” in the bedroom.
McCarthy spoke at length about the issue during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark” on Tuesday.
She praised her husband as “the most wonderful human being I’ve ever met,” before saying he was not without flaws.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a problem, but there are challenges,” she says. “Frankly, I’m snoring.”
“We have built-in insulation, so now it really helps us get through the night,” she continued. “I sleep with these giant headphones on every night.”
She also joked that she was creating a “Great Wall” of pillows to further block out his snoring.
Still, she said she could sometimes hear his voice through the sound of waves coming from her headphones when he was snoring particularly loudly, and that’s when she would pat him and roll over.
The “Masked Singer” judge shared a selfie of her and her husband in bed, in which she is wearing large white headphones and Wahlberg has her back turned.
“I can tell you it works,” she said of the noise-cancelling technology.
McCarthy, 53, and Wahlberg, 56, met in 2012 after both had gone through divorces. They married in 2014.
Back in January, the couple shared how they’re keeping their marriage together, including how much they love sneaking together during parties.
“If somebody’s having a Christmas party, we’re going to find a bathroom in the basement and take advantage of that moment,” McCarthy admitted in an interview with Us Weekly.
Wahlberg added, “We try to keep it hot. Of course we love each other and are attracted to each other, but we’re also mindful of that.”
“That’s how you keep (the spark) alive. We don’t take for granted that it’s been 10 years and we don’t have to do that anymore. Keep it going.”
