As the new year approaches, Cash Warren is reflecting on the lessons he learned in 2025 after his split from Jessica Alba.
“Thank you so much for what started out as a year I wanted to forget but grew into a year I’ll always remember,” Warren, 46, wrote on Instagram Wednesday, alongside family photos taken throughout the year.
“Here are some lessons I have learned in the last 365 days. Acceptance is the antidote to suffering. Our minds are the OG algorithms. Negative thoughts will play over and over again if we allow them.”
“The line between enlightenment and narcissism is very thin. Don’t be fooled by people who don’t know the difference,” he continued, before sending a message of encouragement to each of his three children. He and the “Honey” star have been co-parenting all three children together over the past year.
He began by congratulating his eldest daughter Honor, 17, who recently announced that she will be attending Yale University in the fall.
“I don’t know how you accomplished it. Your ability to stay focused on your goals no matter what life throws at you this year has been inspiring,” he wrote.
“Thank you for continuing to pave the way for your sister and brother. You really deserve a shout out!!!”
He thanked his second daughter Heaven, 14, for “holding me accountable” and “communicating so openly” during moments of distress.
“Your transparency is everything! Oh, and thank you for teaching me about the art of being nonchalant,” he added.
He ended by thanking his son Hayes, who “taught me to live life without regrets.”
“Happy 8th birthday my boy!!!!” he continued.
“From the first day to the new news… I’m so grateful 🥂❤️ 🥳. Thank you for helping me get back on my feet. Happy New Year!!” he closed.
Warren and Alba, 44, announced their divorce in January after nearly 17 years of marriage. The “Fantastic Four” actress filed for divorce from the producer the following month.
The two stars have since both moved on. Alba has since started dating actor Danny Ramirez, while Warren has been linked to at least two young models.
