Khloe Kardashian has denied any rumors that she has reconciled with ex Tristan Thompson.
Whispers of their relationship resurfaced over the holiday season when fans spotted Thompson’s name, which was snubbed last year, at the annual Kardashian-Jenner gingerbread house.
Also named were younger sister Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and younger sister Kourtney’s husband, Travis Barker.
However, after a fan commented with concerns about the Good American co-founder’s Christmas post on Instagram on Sunday, Khloe assured that there was no romantic feeling between her and the former NBA star.
“Looks like Tristan is in a gingerbread house, girl, he won’t change. Watch out!” a fan warned.
“Hi baby. He is the father of my children and will forever be a part of our family,” Khloe wrote back.
“But thank you 😉 Trust me, my kids will forever and always come first ❤️ Merry Christmas,” she concluded.
Fan posts mention that there were several instances of infidelity between Thompson and Khloe during their long-term romance.
The former couple started dating in 2016 and announced in March 2018 that they were pregnant with a girl.
But their romance was put to the test when footage of the athlete and another woman was leaked just days before the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 41, was due to give birth.
Page Six exclusively reported that Khloe was “furious” and “devastated” after hearing about Thompson’s infidelity. Still, she was there to witness the birth of her daughter, True, on April 12, 2018.
Despite her family’s wishes, Khloe and Thompson, 34, reconciled the following month, with a source telling Page Six that she “loves Tristan and is sticking by him.”
“She stuck with him over the objections of her mother and sisters, who begged her to take the baby back to Los Angeles and live with her family,” the source explained. “They are worried about Khloe, but she insists that her baby comes first and that she wants to be a family.”
The couple suffered a second cheating scandal in February 2019, when the former Cleveland Cavaliers player allegedly kissed Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.
Chloe and Thompson were estranged for several months after the incident, before getting back together in July 2020. However, they broke up again a year later after Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed he dated Thompson.
In a fall 2021 episode of the Hulu reality show, the entrepreneur revealed his determination to bring Thompson back.
“We’re doing great. We’re in a really good place, actually. We just got back together,” she claimed. “He’s been to therapy a lot. He’s just put in a lot of effort.”
However, in December of the same year, Thompson accused his personal trainer Maralie Nichols of impregnating his child with Chloe, and Thompson’s affair was exposed again, which Thompson later admitted.
In response, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum dumped him again, but in July 2022 it was revealed that the couple was expecting their second child via a surrogate, and that child was conceived in November before his latest cheating scandal.
A source told Page Six at the time that Kardashian and Thompson were not back together and had not spoken since December beyond the issue of co-parenting.
The couple welcomed their second child, son Tatum, on July 28, 2022, and have been amicable co-parents ever since.
