Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sons Justin and Christian plan to share their side of the story about the aftermath of their father’s federal trial with the announcement of a new docuseries set to be released on Zeus in 2026.
The pair revealed the untitled documentary series with a trailer posted on social media on Sunday night. The clip shows footage taken outside the courthouse where Combs’ trial was held, with headlines about her father playing on the screen. The trailer ends with Justin receiving an advance call from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, where Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence.
Combs’ sons supported him through his criminal trial earlier this year, and Justin spent Christmas Day visiting his father in prison. Combs himself has not given up hope of overturning his conviction, filing an appeal two days before Christmas. In a filing, Combs’ attorney, Alexandra A.E. Shapiro, argued that his sentence was harsher than it should have been and that Judge Alan Subramanian, who handed down the sentence, challenged the jury’s verdict by “serving as a 13th juror.”
Combs was the recent subject of Netflix’s popular documentary series “Sean Combs: The Reckoning.” The series is a four-part chronicle of the mogul’s life, told through the eyes of his inner circle. “The Reckoning,” directed by Alexandria Stapleton and executive produced by Combs’ longtime nemesis 50 Cent, included footage that Combs was commissioned to film in the week leading up to his arrest in September 2024 on federal sex trafficking, prostitution transportation and racketeering charges.
