Lance Bass has fond memories of two underrated *NSYNC songs.
In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE about his partnership with Bath & Body Works, the 46-year-old former boy band member also highlighted the *NSYNC tracks that don’t get enough love.
One song Bass said was “overlooked” was “It Makes Me Ill,” track five of the band’s 2000 album No Strings Attached.
“This is my favorite song on No Strings Attached,” Bass explained. “I definitely fought for it to be a single, but there were other songs as well. There were some bangers from that album, so it was hard to choose a single.”
“‘It Makes Me Ill’ is still my favorite non-Christmas song we’ve ever written,” he continued, calling the song “amazing” and “fun.”
Bass added that the song is especially loved by men.
“Well, the funny thing is, all the guys who like *NSYNC are the same, and 80% of the time they say, ‘That makes me sick.’ It’s like our favorite song,” the father of two said.
His other underrated *NSYNC song pick is a holiday track.
“I think our a cappella ‘O Holy Night’ is overlooked,” Bass said of the song from the group’s 1998 album, Home for Christmas.

He added, “This is my favorite recording we’ve ever done. It’s my favorite recording I’ve ever done, because it reminds me of when we started in 1995. No music, just our voices, and that’s how we started. I just love that.”
