Katy Perry brought her signature quirky style to the Thanksgiving table this year.
Or rather, she used her playful fashion sense to materialize an actual Thanksgiving table placed on her head in miniature.
The “Bon Appétit” singer posted a short video to her Instagram feed Thursday night, showing off a bright blue beret complete with a flat round topper for Thanksgiving dinner, including a seating setting for four.
“Hatty Thanksgiving,” Parry joked as the camera panned from the top of her head to her face.
The dinner spread included pumpkin pie, green beans, bread, wine, and, of course, a trussed turkey in the center.
“Delicious,” many followers commented, paying homage to the classic Parisian accessory and the fun-named single from Perry’s 2017 album Witness.
Although berets are typically French in style, Perry has suitably Americanized the look, adding some elements of most American-centric holiday fare.
Perry wore a festive hat and layered a dark green sweater over a light black turtleneck. Her hair fell in loose waves, cascading from her beret.
It’s unclear who came up with this playful design, but the beret is the same style worn by Vogue’s new head of editorial content Chloe Malle in 2022. Her mother, actress Candice Bergen, shared the photo on Instagram three years ago.
Perry and her boyfriend Justin Trudeau made their first public appearance as a couple about a week ago. However, it is unclear whether the former Canadian prime minister joined the singer in celebrating the American holiday.
Prime Minister Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau separated in 2023, but despite rumors of a romance with the American pop star, Trudeau last month shared a photo from a Canadian Thanksgiving with his entire family, including his ex-girlfriend.
