During the semi-finals of the show, Zack cheered on Dylan while his brother and partner Daniella Karagacci performed a tango to Prince’s “I Could Die 4 U” and a cha-cha to Prince’s hit song “Kiss.” They received scores of 27/30 and 28/30 for their performance.
Before Whitney Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas headed home, Zac joined his five-year-old sister Olivia to cheer on Dylan. He also encouraged fans to vote for Dylan on his Instagram Story.
Elsewhere in the night, Dylan spoke to PEOPLE about making it to the finale, sharing that he’s now “fully experienced” in the world of DWTS. “We already know this week…We’ve been treating every week like it’s our last week, and this week is our last Wednesday rehearsal, Thursday rehearsal,” he said. “So I’m going to enjoy every moment and give it my all.”
Dylan, who previously showed love to his family on October’s Dedication Night, revealed to PEOPLE before the season opened that his mother, Starla Baskett, dreamed of Zack appearing on the show 20 years ago. Now he is realizing that dream.
“Mom, my dream 20 years ago was for Zach to do a show,” Dylan said. “So I’m really looking forward to my mom being there.”
“But also my dad and my brother and sister,” she said, adding that her family was excited to see her in the ballroom. “Seeing them in the stands brings tears to my eyes.”
