“Since giving birth, I’ve literally started taking care of my health at the highest level for the first time ever, and I feel better than ever and I look incredible. I feel great,” Traynor, 31, told Entertainment Tonight in an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Wednesday, November 12.
The “All About That Bass” singer reiterated that her health comes first.
“I take care of myself,” she added. “We have to find a way to not be affected by that.”
In March, she faced criticism for her weight loss and revealed in an Instagram post that she had decided to take Munjaro, the brand name for the GLP-1 injection tirzepatide.
Later that month, at Billboard’s 2025 Women in Music Awards, she said she started taking medication after the birth of her second child with husband, actor Daryl Sabara. She added that she is working with a nutritionist, making lifestyle changes and hiring a trainer.

“I have been on a journey to become the healthiest and strongest version of myself for my children and myself,” she said at the time. “Yes, I used science and support (thank you Munjaro!) to help me after getting pregnant with my second child. And I’m so glad I did because I feel so good.”
The Grammy Award winner released “Still Don’t Care,” the lead single from her upcoming album “Toys With Me,” on Wednesday. “My page is usually a friendly, happy, mom-loving place, but it has taken a dark turn,” Traynor told PEOPLE ahead of the album’s release, explaining the background behind the song.
“People started commenting on my body, saying I was too skinny, that they didn’t recognize me anymore, etc. And I thought, ‘Oh, I’ve just been focusing so hard on my health and fitness and I’ve never felt this good before.’ So I got confused and sad and thought, ‘Oh, it’s almost getting worse already.’ “I don’t know what happened,” she continued.

“I liked that idea…’Let me think again. No, I don’t care yet.’ And I know that when I start singing that, it’s going to be my therapy, my exposure therapy,” the “Me Too” singer added.
