Lila Kojooli, vice president of communications for Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Kids & Family, is resigning.

Kojoori has been with Nickelodeon since 2006. She shared the news of her departure with her team in an internal memo that read in part, “I feel extremely fortunate to have shared this journey with you all. My role here may be over, but I know that the friendships and bonds we have built will continue.”

The full memo can be read below.

During his time at Nickelodeon, Kojooli worked on some of the biggest shows in the network’s history. This includes “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Victorious,” “Big Time Rush,” “Henry Danger,” “The Thundermans,” and more. She has also recently worked on reboots of several Nickelodeon productions, including “Good Burger 2” and the revival of “iCarly” on Paramount+.

She has also worked closely with a wide range of stars who began their careers on Nickelodeon, including Ariana Grande, Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Victoria Justice, KiKi Palmer, Jace Norman, Brianna Eid, Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin, Isabella Merced, and JoJo Siwa.

Kojooli also contributed to the network’s presence at high-profile events such as the Kids’ Choice Awards, as well as the Super Bowl, San Diego Comic-Con, and BidCon.

Note from Lila Kojooli

After working for Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Kids & Family for over 20 years, I have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of my career. Whether it’s supporting shows like iCarly, Big Time Rush, Double Dare, Victorious, School Spirits, Good Burger 2, or SpongeBob SquarePants, or building unforgettable experiences at Comic-Con and the Kids’ Choice Awards, it’s been an extraordinary privilege to be involved in shaping the stories, events, and campaigns that have defined so many milestone moments for children and families. None of this would have been possible without the talented and dedicated team I have had the pleasure of working with.

But what I will miss most are the people – my colleagues who have become collaborators, mentors and friends. I feel very lucky to have shared this journey with you. My role here may be over, but I know that the friendships and connections we have made will continue. Thank you for your creativity, heart and support in making this such an unforgettable experience.
