NASCAR has partnered with Words + Pictures, the makers of hits like “The Last Dance” and “30 for 30,” to produce a new documentary series. Developed and produced by Full Speed Entertainment, “Rising” will offer “an unprecedented look into the lives of three young, up-and-coming NASCAR drivers who have pursued greatness on and off the track this season.”

The five-episode series will air on NASCAR’s YouTube channel over five nights from Nov. 17-21, following Carson Josevar, Jesse Love and Rajah Carruth, and focuses on the defining seasons of their careers. Filmed at multiple tracks, the episode will capture “the pressure, sacrifice and ambition that drove these talented stars who are part of the next generation poised to lead NASCAR into the future.”

“‘Rising’ depicts the ups and downs of trying to reach the highest level of our sport,” said John Dahl, NASCAR senior vice president of content. “We’re showcasing the inner vulnerability and hunger of young drivers to prove themselves. This series is for anyone who can relate to the daily struggle of striving for their dreams. By premiering this series on the NASCAR YouTube channel, we’re able to meet fans where they are, offering free global access and fun storytelling on a platform that already has one of the most engaged communities in the world.”

In December, FOX Sports will broadcast “Rising” on FS1 in a five-week programming special leading up to the 2026 Daytona 500 on Feb. 15.

Aaron Cohen, Chief Creative Officer of Words + Pictures said: “We don’t just portray our drivers as young racing stars.” “Yes, they’ve dedicated their lives to the sport, but they’re also young men in their early 20s who are finding their way as human beings. ‘Rising’ provides an authentic, sometimes raw, unfiltered look at how all of that collides in their stories.”

Rising is executive produced by Tim Clark, John Dahl and Tully Hare for NASCAR Studios, and Connor Shell, Libby Geist and Aaron Cohen for Words + Pictures. Words + Pictures’ Matthew Chase will direct and produce.
