Get ready to crash the party again — “Wedding Crashers” returns to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Fathom Entertainment has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring the R-rated comedy back to the big screen on December 4th and 11th. The 20th anniversary special release includes 10 minutes of deleted scenes originally featured in the 2006 home entertainment version of the film.
Directed by David Dobkin (Clay Pigeons, Shanghai Nights), Wedding Crashers stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn as two lifelong friends and business partners who use their free time to crash a wedding reception. The ensemble cast also includes Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, Isla Fisher, and Jane Seymour.
First released in theaters in 2005, Wedding Crashers grossed $288 million worldwide and became one of the leading R-rated comedies of the 2000s.
“Few films from the past 20 years have been as laugh-out-loud funny as ‘Wedding Crashers’ and remain as relevant as part of the pop culture conversation. Fathom is thrilled to partner with Warner Bros. to bring a special 20th anniversary presentation of ‘Wedding Crashers’ to the big screen with bonus content that will be available for first viewing in theaters,” Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt said in a statement. “With a diverse and incredible cast, the 20th anniversary production of Wedding Crashers is a classic that fans new and old will want to enjoy in theaters this December.”
Tickets are available now on Fathom Entertainment’s website and at participating theater box offices.
