Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunny Zoe, stands by her decision to forgive the musician after he cheated on her.
After Jelly Roll revealed earlier this week that he had had extramarital affairs in the past, social media users came out in droves to share their thoughts on the situation.
One “very disappointing” critic wrote to Bunny, “Oh my god. Your husband cheated on you. You got him back and have been singing perfectly ever since.”
The netizen went on to claim, “I can’t respect you now,” and questioned, “Where are your friends? How can anyone support this?”
At the end, the person asked the Lord, “Give the bunny the strength to jump🐇🐇.”
But Bunny, 45, didn’t understand the sentiment and clapped back: “Instead of running away or gossiping, it actually takes a strong woman to face the pain head on, do the work, and rebuild with the man she loves.”
According to the host of the Dumb Blonde podcast, “Growth is a blessing, not a weakness. But not everyone has that strength.”
Bunny responded to a commenter’s “prayers” by writing, “I pray you don’t have to feel the pain of criticizing another woman’s life ❤️.”
She uploaded a screenshot of the conversation to her Instagram Story, adding the “🥱” emoji and posting it to the tune of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears.”
The former escort added that she will detail the “full story” in her upcoming memoir, “Striped Down: Unfiltered, Unapologetically.”
The book’s description says, “From Las Vegas trailer parks to Nashville mansions, Bunny Zoe has lived many lives and seen the darkest sides of humanity. Her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unabashed, is cold, clear proof that no one is beyond redemption.”
“With plenty of humor and refreshing self-awareness, Bunny relentlessly tells his own journey of redemption and offers some simple wisdom to those who need a little bit of a lift from themselves.”
As for Jerry, his sins still haunt him.
“I don’t talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adult life was when I cheated on my wife,” the 40-year-old rapper confessed on Tuesday’s episode of his “Human School” podcast.
“The repair was special, and we are stronger than ever.”
The Grammy Award winner, who is now sober from hard drugs, explained the background to his actions, explaining that he cheated on his wife, did hard drugs, and hung out with men who were drinking heavily.
He described them as “terrible people” but admitted that deep down he felt “proud” of their “longstanding friendship”.
Jerry (who has two children from a previous relationship) and Bunny married in 2016.
They separated in 2018 due to his cheating, but they reconciled before the end of the year.
The couple renewed their vows in 2023.
