Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are hilariously screamers on the second season of Nobody Wanted This.
In the newly released episode, Joan (Kristen Bell) and her sister Morgan (Justin Lupe) get into an argument over Morgan’s relationship with her therapist, Dr. Andy (Arian Moayed).
“Should I believe everything you say?” Joan asks Morgan. “According to you, you could have been Meghan Markle.”
Annoyed by the comment, Morgan fired back: “I saw Prince Harry in a bar and I said he had a vibe, you know what? And he had a vibe!”
The drama, which first aired in September 2024, centers on the relationship between a rabbi (Adam Brody) and an agnostic non-Jewish woman (Bell).
Prince Harry went on a blind date at a bar with a Suits alumnus in July 2016, set up by a mutual friend.
The Duke of Sussex first saw Markle’s photo on a friend’s Instagram and asked him to set her up.
“I was scrolling through my feed and someone who was friends with one of my friends had a Snapchat video of the two of them,” Harry said. “I was like, ‘Who is that?'” he said of the miniseries “Harry & Meghan.”
After their first drink, they promised to meet again soon and went on safari a few weeks later, even though they barely knew each other.
“I was surprised that she said yes,” Harry said. “This woman, who I’ve actually met twice, came to Botswana and ended up living in a tent for five days!” he shared in the docuseries.
The two got engaged in 2017 and married the following year.
Meanwhile, the release of ‘Nobody Wants This’ was somewhat overshadowed by the harsh criticism Bell received for a post she shared on Instagram celebrating her wedding anniversary to Dax Shepard.
Bell, 45, captioned a photo of the couple embracing: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me, ‘I’m not going to kill you. Many men have killed their own wives at some point. I have a strong motive to kill you, but I will never.'” ❤️. ”
Many criticized the post as insensitive, especially since October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
“FYI, posting this caption during Domestic Violence Awareness Month is incredibly tone-deaf :/Think again,” one person urged.
“This is a very sad and insensitive statement considering today is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and thousands of women are losing their lives at the hands of men they trusted…” another person pointed out.
In response to the uproar, the former Gossip Girl star restricted comments on her account.
