This Halloween, Piper Rockell is donning a suit and accepting followers’ claims that her celebrity lookalike is Amanda Bynes.
On Wednesday, October 15, the 18-year-old influencer posted a video dressed as Bynes’ character Viola from the hit rom-com She’s the Man. Ms. Rockel has put together clips of her lip-syncing to famous lines from the 2006 film, all of which show Viola donning a frat uniform and a Crop wig to play on her high school soccer team as her older brother Sebastian.
At the beginning of the Instagram reel, Rockel can be seen with a soccer ball under one arm and a tampon up her nose. The oddly placed feminine products represent the iconic scene in which Viola’s roommate, played by Channing Tatum, finds her box of tampons and becomes suspicious.

In response, Bynes’ character spontaneously decides that it is being used to stop nosebleeds and convinces the men by inserting a cotton swab into his nose.
Rockel posted multiple TikTok videos of her pre-Halloween costumes, including behind-the-scenes shots of her getting her wig and makeup applied. “I’m about to wear my sexiest Halloween costume ever,” she joked at the beginning of the video.
Addressing her 17.7 million followers, she continued, “Did I get some attention? Great. Now that I’m actually here, I’m going to dress up as Sebastian from She’s the Man.”
The young content creator acknowledged her often-noted resemblance to Bynes, 39, from her acting days, but limited the comparison by saying she only resembles Bynes “from certain angles.”

“I would never compare myself to her beauty,” Rockel added.
Later in the video, the TikToker explained that she had “no idea” that there were celebrities who looked like her until fans started commenting. Rockel says he hopes to meet Bynes someday. “I still love her very much,” the social media star said.
