Kristin Cavallari has reportedly signed a multi-year, eight-figure deal with Dear Media to expand her podcast “Let’s Be Honest.”
According to Variety, Cavallari’s podcast was launched in 2023 after rewatching his podcast Laguna Beach and focuses on dating, relationships, friendships, and family.
“I was looking for a new challenge, and the fun I had with the Back to the Beach podcast made me think it might be really fun to take on one myself. I love choosing guests who have the freedom to talk about whatever they want, who have a great story, and who can hopefully make people laugh, teach a real lesson, or inspire them,” she said at the time.
“I’ve always kept the public at arm’s length. Finally, I’m at a great place in life where I’m opening up and sharing my experiences,” she continued. “My podcast focuses on dating and relationships, so I’m excited to be a guest to really uncover what men are thinking and feeling so that women can have a deeper understanding of the dating world. Of course, I’ll also be sharing my experiences over the past few years getting back into the dating world.”
The 38-year-old reality TV alum previously went on a multi-city tour on her podcast, opening up about her personal dating life and opening up about some of her past lovers.
The tour was also recorded for E!’s documentary series “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour,” which premiered on June 5th.
In addition to her current romantic happenings, Cavallari also opened up about her “complicated” co-parenting situation with ex-husband Jay Cutler on her podcast.
Cavallari and Cutler have three children. Camden (13 years old), Jackson (11 years old), Saylor (9 years old).
The “Very Cavallari” star and the former NFL player, 42, have been married since 2013 and announced their divorce in 2020.
At the time, sources said the cause of their breakup was Cutler’s “lack of motivation” and “lazy” attitude after retiring from professional sports.
The couple settled for divorce in 2022. But the exact terms of the agreement came up again recently after Cutler claimed that Cavallari told podcast listeners that she “didn’t get a dime” out of the divorce and made false claims about the settlement.
“I think it’s irresponsible. I think it’s reckless. I think the insinuation that the distributions that both parties got during the marriage was zero is borderline defamatory,” he shared on an August episode of the podcast “Take It Outside.”
Cutler, who earned approximately $127.9 million during his 12-year NFL career, went on to stress that “there is no judge in Tennessee” who would grant a divorce agreement that would allow him to “keep every dollar” he earned during their marriage.
“That’s crazy. It’s completely false, it’s completely untrue. That’s just the way it is. I have a divorce decree. I have it signed by a judge — it’s about 67 pages — and it has a breakdown of the numbers,” Cutler added.
Cavallari has not responded to his ex’s claims and was even seen dodging questions about Cutler’s shocking podcast episode in September.
