Only Taylor Swift was able to adopt the power of a friendship bracelet twice in a year.
Fans seem to think the superstar singer has swapped her ERAS tour beads a bit off to trade her new “showgirl” status, as revealed by Bling, featured in some visuals on her brand new album.
Xoxo’s Eagle Eyed Audrey Long, Pozip Girl, pointed out on Instagram on Saturday that she was wearing pink sapphire and diamond bracelets from Swift, 35, Lorraine Schwartz, a photo of the record photo of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
What’s even more interesting is the fact that a shot of Swift wearing Spift runs on Spotify alongside the track “Cancel!” – A song that was speculated a lot.
“What I like is that my friends have been cancelled / I like appearing like Gucci and Scandal / Sour in my whiskey / The nasty flowers of poison,” sings Swift.
Lively’s ongoing legal battle with director and co-star Justin Baldoni over the conflict while filming “It Ending with Us” recently brought the actress into a negative light. A rift has reportedly erupted between two long-time friends who have not been found together since October last year due to fallout from the lawsuit.
Is Lily Bloom, a Lively character, “poison and muddy flowers” that Swift mentions? And how about the sourness of the whiskey? Can it come to Betty’s sake too?
In particular, Lively wears a pink sapphire and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bracelet for many special events over the past decade, including the London premiere of “It Ending Us” last August.
On Thursday, Instagram account Whoore Whatjewels first questioned whether the two stars were wearing the same bracelet, and posted a photo of Swift wearing Lorraine Schwartz Earrings for a “showgirl” shoot, sourced from Lively’s Jewelry Box.
The 38-year-old’s vibrancy wore chandelier earrings hanging at the 2013 Met Gala, where the theme was “Punk: The Confusion with Couture.”
We know that Swift’s “Showgirl” era has been marked so far, but Schwartz’s team has yet to confirm whether she is wearing the same precious piece seen on Lively.
Is this bracelet a peace offering? Or is it a sign of strength and solidarity?
After all, diamonds (the hardest material on earth) are girls’ best friends.
