Leighton Meester brings drama to Season 2 of those who don’t want this.
The actress and singer, 39, plays Abby, the former middle school nemesis of Kristen Bell’s character, who will star on the other side of her husband, Adam Brody.
In an exclusive interview with people, Meester, who partnered with Godiva for a new campaign, bullies guest spots by saying, “I don’t know what I can tell you, but I’ll stir up drama there.”
“Obviously, I’m a huge fan of the show for a number of reasons, but I was very fortunate to know everyone involved. “I was really taken away by the kindness of everyone and their talents and how that whole show was put together.”
“Everyone knows it’s so much fun. When I continued, it was one of the most fun times I had on set,” Meester adds, nodding to Brody.

No one wants to debut this on Netflix in September 2024. Both stars 45-year-old Brody and Bell, and the show follows a love story between new single rabbi Noah and agnostic sex podcaster Joanne.
Netflix announced a month after October that the show had been updated for the second season. This is a fan delight after the dramatic cliffhanger ending of season 1.

According to the official summary, Season 2 hopes that Joan and Noah think “they are totally committed to their lives and their loved ones merging together.”
“But the differences between them still exist and cannot be ignored. The challenge now is not only to fall in love with all the possibilities, but to be together despite them,” he continues.

In addition to Brody and Bell, most people hope that this main cast will return for season 2, which includes Justin Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tone and Shelley Cola. Meester will be joining in his new role by Miles Fowler.
At the 2025 Emmy Awards, Brody only spoke with people about joining his wife on the show. (He was nominated for an outstanding lead actor in the Comedy Series category of the Annual Awards Show.)
“The truth behind the matter is that most of her scenes are in Justin (Lupe) and Kristen (Bell),” the OC alumni said.
“So I became a sort of bystander and watch, which can be even more fun because I can admire it,” he added.
Season 2, Season 2, will premiere on October 23rd. Season 1 of the series is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
