“Bachelor” alumnus Melissa Rycroft was arrested last week for driving while drunk.
Rycroft was taken into custody in the Dallas/Fort Worth area on September 23, sources told TMZ on Thursday.
She was booked to a local prison where she stayed for eight hours before posting her $1,000 bond and an appointment to appear in court.
Official details of Rycroft’s arrest remain unknown at this time.
Reps from Rycroft and Dallas Police Department did not immediately respond to a six-page request for comment.
The 42-year-old former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader rose to fame as he competed for the final roses in Jason Mesnick’s “The Bachelor.”
Lycroft is famous for getting engaged to Mesnick in the episode of the season 13 finale, but during the “After the Final Rose” special, he canceled his engagement to runner-up Molly Malany.
She reunited and married her ex, Ty Strickland, at a Mexican ceremony in December 2020, and they welcomed three children together.
According to her Instagram post, the couple celebrated their 15th anniversary in December 2024.
She appeared in season 8 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” and finished third in 2009 with her partner Tony Dovolani.
Rycroft returned with Dovolani for the all-star cast of season 15 in 2012, marking Dovolani’s first victory after 14 seasons.
She also hosted the reality series “Bachelor Pad.”
