Nicole Kidman has been “devastated” by a split from her husband Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage, sources told Page 6.
58-Year-Oscar Winner – You can confirm that he filed for divorce from 57-Year-Old Urban in Nashville, Tennessee. On Tuesday, he tried his best to save the union and protect his family, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
“She feels betrayed,” a source told Page 6 at the end of the marriage. “She feels really upset.”
Kidman shares two teenage daughters with the country music star. Sunday Rose (age 17) and Face Margaret (age 14).
And despite her award-winning actress, her family remains her prioritized, sources told us, pointing out that Kidman was a microcosm of a supportive wife.
She went on the opening night of Urban’s High and Alive World Tour at Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, Alabama on May 22, 2025.
She also joined her husband at the ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas in May, where they held hands and posed together on the red carpet.
“So much fun with the Triple Crown winner!!!” She posted after Urban scooped up the rare feats of three major ACM awards to earn the honor: Top News Vocalist (2001), Male Vocalist of the Year (2005, 2006), Entertainer of the Year (2019).
Kidman, caught up in the loss of her beloved mom Janelle Kidman in September 2024, worked to bring production to Nashville so that she could stay close to her home.
As the producer of the new Amazon Prime show “Scalpetta,” based on Patricia Cornwell’s novel, Kidman asked if the shooting could be in her hometown.
Her latest thriller film, The Netherlands, was also filmed in Nashville.
“Nicole is a homebody and just wants to stay home with her family,” the same source said.
Meanwhile, Urban has been on tours for most years to promote his album “High.” This is his lowest performance album in 25 years, making his debut only at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart in October. Forbes reported that he has never seen any of his efforts below 38 in more than 20 years.
He also fired the band from 25 years ago in January. The group included three longtime members: bass player Jerry Flowers, keyboard player Nathan Barlow and drummer Terrence F. Clark. Fans were angry at the veteran’s departure.
“Nicole is trying to hold back the family, take care of the girls and make it work,” the source said. “She was always there for Keith.”
However, Urban was not there last year for her “Babygirl” promotional tour. He also did not join his wife when he was recognized at the Palm Springs Film Awards with The International Star Awards in January. Jamie Lee Curtis, who she co-produced and starred in “Scalpetta,” awarded her the award.
“Love is the heart of my life,” Kidman said at the ceremony.
Urban was also unable to join his wife at last year’s Venice Film Festival. He joined her at the Golden Globes when he was nominated for “Baby Girl” in January, but he didn’t walk the red carpet with her.
Recently, Kidman, who filmed “Practical Magic 2” with Sandra Bullock in London, posted “Summer Memories” on Instagram in August, sharing photos of her time with her daughter and family. Meanwhile, Urban is on the tour, with the next stop scheduled for Thursday in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
“It’s not true that Nicole suggests that this incredible person and family is the most important to her and that it’s not,” the source said.
