“The guy is the biggest hype guy on the team,” Worthy said during the presser. “He’s always just exaggerating everyone and saying, ‘Man, I need you.’ I’m a “man who always steps up” so I just want to step up for everyone. ”
Worthy supported his dislocated shoulder and torn lips in week one after crashing with Kelce on the third play of the season in Sao Paulo on Friday, September 5th. Coach Andy Reed said his return is unknown three days after his injury. But Worthy’s rehabilitation and work paid off.
“When I was injured, I was about to return immediately. I couldn’t lift my arm. When I returned to KC I was trying to return as soon as possible,” the second-year player said at a press conference on September 28th.

“Coach, they know how I am as a player,” he continued. “They were probably more than anything else, they were holding me back from themselves. I was trying to get back there at the same time. I didn’t worry about coming back.”

However, Travis said he was “most accountable” due to the injury.
“I wasn’t ready, that first drive, I met one of my peers and kicked him out of the game,” he said in New Heights. “I literally took one of the players out. That’s one of the most frustrating parts and it’s hard to get the juice back knowing you’re going to hurt a guy.”
