George Kay, creator of “Lupin,” set up the next project on Netflix for the Swedish crime series “The Case.”
Created and written by Kay, “Case” stars Jacob Offitbro and Peter Anderson (pictured above) as a father-son detective duo. The five-episode series is directed by Kristoffer Nyholm.
“As Endless Summer holds down Stockholm, a different kind of darkness sinks. Clean cut, highly regarded investigator Thomas Berg has a serial killer in his hand,” reads the show’s summary. “A brutal murderer who targeted a police colleague, Thomas gambles desperately and detects false humanitarian ex, once respected, but now unfavourable, seeking help. His estranged father, Alfred.
“The Case” also stars Electra Holman, Alexander Abdallah, Henrik Norlen, Lisette T. Pagler, Magnus Klepper, Irina Bjorkland, Anders Mosling and Anna Maria Carl. B-reel film related to the new photo and the observatory’s photo production “Case” has recently wrapped up shoots in Stockholm, targeting its global launch on Netflix next year.
“I’m excited to be working on a ‘case’ with a Scandinavian Netflix team, new photos, and a B-reel movie. “They gathered all the great cast and crew. All under the guidance of Director Christopher Nyholm. “Case” is a father-son love story, some crime thriller.
“The Case” is produced by Johannes Ålund and Ulf Synnerholm for B-Reel films and executives produced by Kay, Nyholm, Willow Grylls and Matt Sandford. Other writers include Aron Levander and Emily Robson, who directed the Swedish adaptation.
