“Avatar: The Way of Water” returns to theaters around the world on October 3rd, and fans looking to relive James Cameron’s 2022 blockbuster on the big screen will be rewarded with sneak peaks in the sequel “Avatar: Fire and Ashes.” Each screening for the re-release of “The Way of Water” comes with unprecedented “Fire and Ashes” footage. However, not all screenings offer the same experience.
There are three different new clips for “Fire and Ash,” which plays after “The Way of Water,” but each screening only plays one of the three.
“Fire and Ash” is the third film in James Cameron’s “Avatar” series, starting with “Avatar” in 2009 and won 13 years later for “The Way of Water.” The first film was a groundbreaking achievement of visual effects and performance capture, and a milestone at the box office. It has won over $2.9 billion worldwide and remains the place as the greatest growth film of all time. “The Way of Water” went just as well, introducing more new special effects from Weta FX, earning $2.3 billion worldwide. Its predecessor and is the third highest cultivated film ever since “Avengers: Endgame.”

In addition to Worthington and Saldanya, “Fire & Ash” also sees returns from Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Dilly Prao, Matt Gerald, Bailey Bass, British Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion and Eddifalco. Oona Chaplin and David Thewlis will debut the franchise as new characters.
James Cameron and John Landau produced “Fire and Ashes.” Disney’s 20th century studio will release films in theaters around the world on December 19th.
