Dakota Johnson was captivated by wearing a see-through lace Gucci dress at the Zurich Film Festival on Thursday.
The “50 Shades of Grey” actress’ custom blue gown featured a dramatic full-length skirt with high neck, long sleeves, a low Basque style waistline and layered tulle.
Styled by longtime collaborator Kate Young, the “Materialist” star has worn accessories in several Roberto Coin jewelry, including diamonds and sapphire eye earrings, diamonds, emeralds, tanzanite rings, and sapphire and diamond rings.
Johnson, 35, won the Golden Eye Award for his career achievements at the festival.
The “Madame Web” star tends to prefer a see-through style. Earlier this month, she chose another sheer Gucci gown at a Kering Foundation event in New York. This is covered with intricate floral embroidery.
She layered Jessica McCormack’s Fleur du Mar lingerie and diamond and emerald jewelry look.
In June, following a split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the actress came out with another stunning look.
Johnson left the Greenwich Hotel in Nensi Dojaka’s bodysuit and discovered a matching tulle midi skirt to get a spectacular break-up look.
In February 2024, she once again showed off her love for everything transparent with a transparent mesh Gucci design for the premiere of “Madame Webb.”
“Fashion has actually always been personal to me,” the actress told Vogue for a video interview at the Cannes Film Festival in May, summarizing some of her childhood’s “some of the most outrageous looks” and trying out the premier gowns of mom Melanie Griffiths.
But when it comes to her sense of style on the red carpet, she has one simple prerequisite.
“I think it’s something I’m trying to get dresses to be chosen for the carpet. I have to feel good about it,” she told the outlet.
