He said the agent told him that his Monica was “too ethnic.”
Leonardo’s surname is Italian, and his father, George DiCaprio, is a mixture of Italian and German descent.
The “Titanic” star said the agent told him that his “new name” was “Lenny Williams.” They explained that they had taken Leonardo’s middle name, Wilhelm, and revised it slightly to replace his last name.
According to the acclaimed actor, his father saw a headshot with his fake name and told his son “teared it” and “on my corpse.”
Benicio del Toro – They were by Leonardo, who was promoting a new film, “A Battle.”
“Normal Suspect” star, 58-year-old “Benny Dell,” said he revealed the fake moniker he was given.
“This podcast isn’t the same as Rennie Williams and Benny Dell,” said Jason, 37.
During the interview, Leonardo also shared another anecdote from when he first began acting.
The Oscar winner recalls the once-in-a-lifetime agent lined up to him “like a cow” and told him “no” to the flat-out.

“I remember telling my dad, ‘This is scary.’
Jason is convinced him that the agent who took over him is likely now saying “holy s-t” to himself.
DiCaprio invaded the acting industry at the age of 14, appearing in several Matchbox Car commercials.
However, in the early 1990s, he began to act regularly in the show “The Growing Pain,” and then gained fame in “This Boy’s Life.”
