“Dance with the Stars” contestant Corey Feldman admits that his professional partner Jenna Johnson is “better.”
Feldman and Johnson, who won the “Bachelor” alumni Joey Graziaday and the “Longgoodman Mirror Ball Trophy in last season’s Lendgoodman Mirror Ball Trophy, were sent home in double removal alongside Baron Davis and Britt Stewart on Tuesday’s “One Hit Wonders Night.”
“Jenna is amazing. I really enjoyed her,” Feldman, 54, said after learning about his fate.
“I feel really bad because she deserves to be talking personally,” he added, urging Johnson to lean in love.
“She was the queen last year, so she deserves to be champion every year with my book, “Because She’s So Great.” ”
Johnson later told Good Morning America that the pair “cryed a little in the trailer together.”
Feldman confirmed, “I licked (their) wounds.”
The duo received a total of 15/30 for Chacha on Tuesday, and a total of 15/30 for Billy Joel’s “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” by Sir Mix a Lott in the season 34 premiere last week, and a total of 15/30 for 9/20. (Judge Carrie Anne Inaba couldn’t attend the premiere, so he decided on 10 points each, leaving only Bruno Toniori and Derek Huff.)
“As soon as I scored these low scores in the first week, I knew there was no hope, because there were too many good dancers,” Feldman lamented in a “GMA” interview with Johnson 31.
“Everyone – I mean, everyone – was exceptional on this show. It wasn’t just maves or mediocre. Everyone seemed to be important.
Following Tuesday’s performance, the former child star confessed to co-hosting Julian Huff, who appears to support some recent reports, as the show’s intense rehearsal schedule is his biggest challenge.
“They chose a few stars — and I use the term loosely — they just don’t want to get into work. Some people seem less committed than others have in the past,” a source recently told Daily Mail.
“Yes, Corey is one of them. You need a job to win ‘Dance with the Stars’. Rehearsals, practice, really immerse yourself.
Former “DWTS” Promaxim Cherkovsky, who is also Johnson’s brother-in-law, reflected those feelings, saying, “Obviously, Jenna climbs a little with Corey.
And when asked if he thought the actor’s age was a factor, Chemekovsky said, “I think it’s a combination (of technique and work ethic). Maybe (the learning choreography) isn’t that kind of comfort zone for him.”
Sources in the Daily Mail claimed that the dancers were “not complaining” about their celebrity partners and “warned by the producers,” but Johnson previously suggested behind the scenes tension.
“Many people told Instagram followers earlier this month, ‘Where is Tiktok with Corey? What’s going on?’ Johnson told Instagram followers. “To be honest, I haven’t actually seen him since ‘Good Morning America’. ”
Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars” featuring Robert Irwin, Hilaria Baldwin, Daniel Fishel and others will return next Tuesday at 8pm on ABC and Disney+ at 8pm with a new episode airing the following day.
