Emily Kisser has been working on the public response to the recent Tiktok video, marking her return to social media after the death of her 3-year-old son Trigg.
On Tuesday, September 23rd, Emily, 26, joined Instagram Stories to thank her fans following her return on Sunday, September 20th.
“I just wanted to say my deepest thanks for the love and support I had in my latest post,” she began with a text post.
The influencer said, “I was really blown away by love, comfort and support. I’m grateful that many of you share your own stories about your similar experiences and how you dealt with grief and loss.”
Emily also said, “The internet could be such a dark place,” before thanking her comments section for “support and community.”
“If anyone following me or reading this is dealing with the loss, I just want to say I’m here for you and hope you have the love and support you need,” the statement concluded.
Emily’s son Trigg died after a drowsing incident that occurred on May 12th in the backyard pool of her and her husband Brady Kaiser. He was three years old.
Tuesday’s statement comes days after Emily returned to social media on video on Sunday. “Hello, guys. I really don’t know what to say. To be honest, it’s obviously a minute since I came here,” she began with the clip.
Her video featured her usual format of showing her making iced coffee before pausing to talk to the camera. She also wore a “trigg” necklace in honor of her late son.

“I’m not going to lie, I’m really nervous right now,” she continued. “I really don’t know if there’s a right way to start this video, but I’ll do my best. First of all, I’d like to say thank you if you’re here.”
Emily first addressed her son’s death in a statement shared on Instagram and Tiktok, saying that while “establishing more boundaries” with what she shares online, she “hopes to be in a place where she shares more about how she can navigate this grief.”
“All I can say now is to thank the love, compassion, patience and space you have given us to grieve,” Emily said.
Emily also looked back at the beginning of her social media career, explaining that her goal when starting her platform was to “connect with other moms and find a community.”

Brady, the only parent at home at the time of the incident, initially said that Chandler Police Station (CPD) reports later cited video evidence that Trig’s “backyard” had not been in the water for more than nine minutes and seven minutes, but that he cited video evidence that he was “in the backyard” in about seven minutes, but lost sight of Trig for three to five minutes before he found him in the pool.
Trigg was hospitalized after the incident. He passed away six days later on May 18th.
