Rapper Monaleo and Stanna 4 Vegas get married at an all-pink wedding in Texas (exclusive)

Monaleo and Stanna 4 Vegas have found their universe love!

The couple tied the knot in front of 180 guests on Friday, September 19th at Boxwood Manor, just outside Houston, Texas.

The pair’s love story began with a 2021 meeting of events at the recording studio.

“She was in the studio where I was and her manager heard I was there and he brought her to introduce her to me,” Stunna (his real name is Khalick Antonio Caldwell) tells only people. “But we didn’t start dating from there. That’s just the first thing we met. Then I dmated her (on social media) and that’s how we started kicking it.”

In Monareo (real name Leondra Gay), the 29-year-old Stanna was different from the people she had met before. The first night she visited him at his house, she quickly picked up how polite he was towards her.

“He put my shoes aside (after I arrived),” she recalls. “I had some little Cartier glasses, he had them on top, he just took care of me, and I was grateful for it and thankful that he didn’t try to do anything crazy.

And what brings the two together is its precise sense of security. Monaleo, 24, has spoken out about her struggle with childhood abuse and depression, but Stunna says she has been “very protective” from the start.

“I met him at a very vulnerable time in my life, so I am grateful for the amount of protection he has come,” she explains. “I’ve never actually experienced that type of energy from anyone, and I’m really grateful to feel safe with him.”

For Stanna, it is the way Monareo appeared for him through the ups and downs of life.

“She’s there for me,” he says. “You don’t always expect a girl to be there for you, but she’s there for me.”

Stunna proposed to Monareo in a private moment in 2023. That same year, the couple welcomed their son, who turned two years old in May. The two rappers usually retain intimate details of milestones between them, so it might have been a surprise to live stream their wedding. But it was “easy” for them.

“I think we had to live stream the wedding,” Stanna says.

“I share this experience with my fanbase and I’m just choking through this whole process,” adds Monareo. “It feels like everything’s on the way back. You go to the studio, shoot videos, shoot content, do this, do that.”

“Change the diaper and make it clean,” Stunna continues.

“It really dismantled the monotony of my daily schedule and added a level of excitement. I was really excited to share this process and promote black love, black unity and black community,” adds Monareo.

The duo had some non-negotiation and essentials for the wedding. For their first dance, Stanna proposed “Cosmic Love.” This is a swept ballad that closes Monareo’s first LP, where flowers don’t die, because “she wrote that song for me.”

And in the current Viral Tiktok, Stanna had given up on denying the last minute plus of his wedding.

“I’m just the real South,” claims the North Carolina native. “I was literally talking to 10-12 (people), so they could take girls to weddings and not trying to DM everyone. It’s sacred when it comes to this kind of thing.

Monaleo worked closely with her wedding planner, Tashauche of Huff & Puff Events, to make her vision come true. The full slate of the event included singles and a “Buckle Leot” party, a “Brushing” bridal shower, a family game show night and a farewell dinner for “Caldwell Cookout.” The wedding and reception featured a menu filled with Unity candle lighting, Monareo’s wall of memory, a menu filled with comfort food from the late Stannah’s loved one, Cafe Natalie (including the frito pie of southwest delicateness), and a Texas melon wedding cake with Tammy Allen’s cake.

And, of course, if it wasn’t an all-pink event, it wouldn’t be a Monareo moment! The decorations were handled at the Royal Luxury Event and provided the perfect backdrop for Stanna’s blushing pink suit by Aronuko Bridal’s Olwag Bemi Sora Okunlola, a well-kept man and Monareo wedding and reception dress.

“I’ve seen a few things about people commenting on how pink the wedding is. I don’t mind,” Monareo declares confidently. “I want to make Stanna look like he’s forcing Pink on Stanna, but I think he looked handsome. Pink represents a new beginning, love and prosperity, so I just felt that it was freed among those who have experienced such a massive amount of trauma, because of the way we acquired in the situation.”

One of the most talked about loving moments of the ceremony was Stunna’s emotional response. Even before Monareo descended the aisle and floated at Beyoncé’s “1+1”, his eyes were filled with tears of joy.

“I was thinking, ‘Shit, that’s going to happen,'” he recalls. “I was already watching our people, I was already watching people there. I was looking at the family. I was looking at gangstas who I had never seen such dress-ups.”

It’s an emotional feeling to have a couple close to them. It’s about fostering experiences for those around you. The couple shares that they feel a sense of responsibility to set an example as they continue to unite their loved ones, carve out their lives and manage their elevated platforms. In fact, it’s a responsibility they both felt from their younger days.

“Before we made money, we were called to be pillars and bring about certain types of change within our family,” says Monareo. “We struggled with that at first, and learned a lot of lessons about who to give money and how to help people without making them effective or crippling.

Their journey to the altar was not easy, but everyone around them is getting much closer. After undergoing ancestor DNA testing and hiring genealogist, Stunna met her father (who attended the wedding) and grandfather for the first time in June. Monareo then told people that his father, Reno, had conquered a tough battle with cancer last year, which led to triple bypass surgery after aggressive chemotherapy treatments.

“It was a priority for me to walk down the aisle with my dad and to share that moment together was really important to me,” she says.

As for the next chapter, the couple enjoys their tropical honeymoon and promises new music (“Finish and Submit” and Monaleo talks about her upcoming major label debut album under a new deal with Columbia Records, hoping to “have more kids.”
