CJ ENM has opened new ground at the Venice TV Awards 2025 and has become the first Korean entertainment company to bring back a gold trophy at an international ceremony. The company’s MNET music channel Couple Palace won the Light Entertainment category, with three additional CJ ENM titles earning nominations in multiple genres.
South Korea has won nominees for the Venice TV Awards for the past few years, the first time that Korean television content has won a gold trophy at a ceremony.
Created and produced by Lee Sun-Young and Jeong Min-Seok, the show will hit the acclaimed duo “I Can Your Voice” and “Love Catcher” behind the global format, but explores modern marriage themes through innovative reality formats.
“We wanted to create something unique around the themes of marriage in today’s world. We are extremely pleased that our efforts are recognized,” the creator said in a statement. “We put a lot of thought and effort into presenting real marriage issues through fresh forms, and we are deeply grateful for the enormous credibility and creativity of our approach.”
Beyond the Gold victory, CJ Enm has secured three additional nominations in the direction of the original series “LTNS” and “Pyramid Game” (produced by CJ ENM Studios).
