Salma Hayek is celebrating her daughter on her special day.
Grown Ups star 59 has recreated a festivities on Instagram from her daughter Valentina’s 18th birthday celebration. In the Carousel post, Hayek shared several photos, including videos of one of Hayek posing with her teenager and husband François Henry Pineau, as well as her teenage daughter on her big day. In one video clip, the mother-daughter duo danced together in silk dresses.
“We ate, we danced, we laughed, we loved…and we continued to party all weekend. Happy birthday Misielo celebrates you never feel long enough,” she wrote in the caption.
The proud mom also shared a throwback photo with her daughter on Instagram, calling her the newly created 18-year-old “beautiful dance queen.”
“My beautiful dance queen. You’re 18 today!!!!! A lot has changed in your life, but you’re always the one who’s soooo you,” she wrote in the caption. “A unique power of nature with a kind passionate heart, a magical, wise soul, witty humor and stubborn tenacity.”

After meeting in 2006, Hayek and Pineau welcomed their daughter Valentina in 2007. The couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony at the 6th Allendies City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day 2009. Valentina was a flower girl.
Last year, when she celebrated Valentina’s 17th birthday on Instagram, Hayek shared that she already had “separation anxiety” as she approached becoming a nestor of the sky.
“She wants to make me laugh all day long, teach me a lot, stay motivated, inspire me in many ways, sing and cooking, and make life very exciting,” she said. “I love you.

During a chat with people in April, Hayek revealed how she prepares for major life changes.
“When you’re a Lebanese mother in Mexico, that’s a very difficult idea because we like them being close by,” she shared.
“But I was talking about it for a very long time with my husband (French businessman François Henry Pineau) and I was devoted to my family for 18 years, and when this happens, I know I’ll be focused on my community, my craft.
