John Bon Jovi is over the month when his son Jake Bongiovie and daughter-in-law Millie Bobby Brown welcomed the baby girl together.
“It’s crazy, but it’s great. It’s amazing,” the music icon told Bunnie Xo in an interview posted on Sunday for Tiktok.
“They adopted a girl. We obviously met the baby, and soon it will become your grandson, do you know what I mean?” he continued. “Your baby.”
The 63-year-old “Livin of Prayer” singer admitted that he is constantly asking Bongiovi (23) and 21-year-old Brown for constant updates.
“It’s beautiful. I want to see the photos every other day,” he shared. “I already feel the pain in the ass guy. Yeah, that’s cool.”
He also explained why he congratulated Bongiovie and the actress in Stranger Things and married a young man.
“We got it, so we congratulated it, do you know?” he shared. “They are mature beyond the ages. She has her parents still together and they come from a very young married family.”
“She and Jake fell in love and we just thought, ‘OK, we’ll support this,'” he recalled. “And that’s going well.”
Bongiovie and Brown got married in a “slack” ceremony in May 2024, and five months later they held their second luxurious celebration in Italy.
The “Enola Holmes” star celebrated her one year anniversary with Bongiovie on Sunday, marking a photo she’s never seen before from her wedding.
“One Year Marriage” captioned a stunning black and white photo of her hugging her husband on her wedding day. “I love being your wife.”
The couple shocked fans last month when they announced that they had adopted a baby girl.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote in a joint statement. “We are thrilled to embark on this beautiful next chapter in parent-child relationships, both in peace and privacy.”
Some fans criticized Brown for choosing to marry and make the baby younger, calling her a “trad wife,” but insiders said they couldn’t care much about her.
“She’s not too confident,” the insider said. “She doesn’t give you crap. Why should she be?”
